Temuera Morrison MNZM is a celebrated New Zealand actor, director, producer, and musician whose career has spanned more than five decades. He is internationally recognized for his performances in the Star Wars franchise, particularly as Jango Fett in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and Boba Fett in Disney productions such as The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Visions, and The Book of Boba Fett. Throughout his career, Morrison has appeared in over 70 film and television productions, earning a reputation as one of New Zealand’s most accomplished screen actors.

In addition to his work in Star Wars, Morrison has featured in notable films including Once Were Warriors (1994), What Becomes of the Broken Hearted? (1999), Green Lantern (2011), and Aquaman (2018). He was raised by his parents, Hana and Laurie Morrison, alongside his older sister, Taini Morrison, who was a respected kapa haka performer. His father was a musician, which helped foster an appreciation for the arts from an early age.

Morrison attended Western Heights High School in Rotorua and later studied at Wesley College in Auckland. He further developed his passion for acting through the New Zealand Special Performing Arts Training Scheme, where he received formal drama training that laid the foundation for his professional career.

Morrison made his screen debut in the 1973 adventure film Rangi’s Catch, portraying the title character, Rangi.
