Aubrey Drake Graham, professionally known as Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of his generation, he built a career that spans television, music, business, and entertainment, becoming one of the most successful recording artists in modern history.

Drake was raised in Toronto by his mother, Sandra “Sandi” Graham, an English teacher and florist, after his parents divorced when he was five years old. His father, Dennis Graham, was a drummer who performed with several musicians, including Jerry Lee Lewis. Growing up, Drake attended a Jewish day school and celebrated a traditional Bar Mitzvah.
